Release Notes 1st Quarter - 2007

This document provides the Release Notes for CRIS Version 2007.1.2.1. This early Q1 release includes the patient merge tool and the MRN change tool and various bug fixes. We expect our next release to be in March 2007. Future functionality in 2007 Q2 will include the new treatment plan module, the new group note module and a new document scanning option. As always, we appreciate customer feedback on every aspect of our product and services.

1. New Features

A. New Modules
Patient Merge Utility: added in the Admin Utility the ability to merge 2 patient records
Change MRN Utility: added the in the Admin Utility the ability to change a patient’s MRN.
B. Enhancements
1. Administrative
  • Updated MSE knowledge table values
2. Interface
  • Added support for temporary and unused expired interface data cleanup. Introduced stored procedures and an SQL Server Agent Job to cleanup every morning.

2. Resolved Issues

  • 1. Disabled access to the main menu when active in the background. Eliminates the ability to open multiple data sets and alter saved data.
  • 2. Enhanced the code to correct spelling exceptions when going from memo to memo.
  • 3. Corrected error for invalid value for sub_displine from ndiagnosis.
  • 4. Corrected the appearance of a lost note when typing in large amounts of free text. Changed the field properties and maxed the limit to 30,000 characters including white space.
  • 5. Increased group and policy number lengths so they can handle live data feed.
  • 6. Fixed interface logging error for Contact / Relationship on initial inserts.
  • 7. Modified the Quick Reports printing issue which caused local printers to print unreadable text.
  • 8. Added a strong policy for note lock configuration which removes note lock for viewing only.
  • 9. Modified note configuration logic per setup to keep the view of the data collected on each note.
  • 10. Cosigner now shows on reports as labeled.
  • 11. Fixed duplicate items showing in evaluation. Items show only 1 time.
  • 12. When selecting a cosigner in service / disposition, the cosigner would switch back to the attending. This has been corrected and will stay with the chosen cosigner.
  • 13. Added a delete date to the medication timeline
  • 14. The default tab for stressors and strengths is now stressors.
  • 15. Removed the year restriction in the date documentation.

Release Notes 2nd Quarter - 2007

This document provides the Release Notes for CRIS Version 2007.2.1.6. This release includes the revised Treatment Plan and Group Note modules as well as various bug fixes. We expect our next baseline release to be in June 2007. Future functionality in 2007 Q3 will include the document scanning option and additional functionality from the calendar/schedule module. As always, we appreciate customer feedback on all aspects of our products and services.

    • Tree view of options
    • Items available based on problems documented in the clinical note
    • Can customize treatment plans or create templates for commonly used plans.
    • database setting settings to control Measures, Frequency, and Duration Requirements.
    • Details of the selected items will appear in the clinical note.
    • Treatment Plan Report has been added and includes a medical necessity signature box.

  9. Added “my favorites” folder in the Medications module. This will enable the clinician to enter commonly prescribed meds, dosage and regimen for quick access. Select the medication characteristics as usually entered then select the F button to add to the “my favorites” folder.
  10. Search Page Appointment Tab – Displays appointments and status. Can click on the line item to open note.


2. Resolved Issues

  1. Treatment Plan
    • Treatment Plan selected items can be removed without the discontinue label while in the same session.
    • Added indication (switch to objective) measure tracker to tabpage. Made shortcut to check all items above for that note from the Treatment Plan.
    • Moved Strength to be one level under indication (switched to objective)
    • Moved Intervention to be one level under indication (switched to objective). Item still acts a child of intervention.
    • Added another measure for indication (switch to objective 0-5), the old measure remained for objective (switch to goal 0-7)
    • Fixed the mouse over hints in the Treatment Plan and Symptom Tracker on the tabpage.
    • Added .ini setting to switch Treatment Plan names. If setting is yes then switch objective to goal and indicator to objective.
    • Added database flag to determine time periods for indicator measure, intervention duration, and intervention frequency.
    • Fixed Treatment Plan template adding to a problem.
    • Creating a new treatment plan for a new patient without treatment will no longer freeze the application.
    • Treatment Plan – when adding new measures, content is now black vs. grey upon entry.
    • Treatment Plan objective – drop down box is now editable with free text and will populate the note accordingly.
    • Increased size for various Treatment Plan fields in the database.
    • Treatment Plan sub categories will only show if populated by knowledge database.
    • Treatment Plan now populates all strengths.
    • Auto save removed. Treatment Plan saved when saved manually or when note is signed.
    • When building items in the treatment plan, selected items from the same session can be edited or removed without being labeled discontinued.
    • Increased length of symptom tracker label in Treatment Plan short cut in tabpage.
    • Intervention frequency and duration frequency now editable
    • Now only shows active problems
    • Can now discontinue a template
    • Can now add to template via the free text add option.
  2. Reports
    • Patient Summary Report - form now includes Patient Problems: AXIS with psychiatric diagnosis, medical diagnosis, and/or problems, allergies, and drug summary.
    • Drug Summary Report – Heading “date prescribed” changed to “date initially prescribed”. “Signature” changed to “Physician” MD name and indicates the name of the prescribing MD as documented in the clinical note.
    • Report – Progress Note view had HPI as a heading on the note. Corrected with Subjective as HPI should be used only on evaluations.
    • dded Supervisor participant line in Treatment Plan report.
    • Added medications and AXIS 1-5 to the top of the Treatment Plan Report.
    • Added additional space to the signature area on the Treatment Plan report.
    • Treatment Plan report – Label now displays physician / attending instead of only attending for the treatment plan level property.
    • Evaluation and Progress Note header changed from Medical History to Medical Diagnosis in tabpage and reports.
    • Medication Summary no longer duplicates items if clinician changed.
  3. Appointment / Check In / Demographics
  4. Demographics page SSN – fixed format issue.
    • Demographics - Health Care Team now only shows current system.
    • Demographics – Family Group now displays after being created from the demographic module.
    • Patient Search Page Appointment Tab – When note is signed appointment no longer shows in list.
    • Patient Search Page – deleted check in/out no longer shows under appointment tab.
    • Fixed the check-in without a payment issue. Data now records properly.
    • Appointment – fixed the print / preview items for appointment detail.
  5. Group Note
    • Group Memo on shared note - removed the requirement for free text to be present. Will now honor either text or a check box item as data.
    • Group Note memo selected check boxes now show data when accessing the review all clinical encounters view.
    • Configuration, member search by last name only
    • Altered user logic in DB grid to retrieve table ID from store procedure to improve concurrency in configuration module.
    • Replaced the DB grid to remove concurrent user session locks. Items are only editable by 1 user at a time. \
    • Removed merged patient flag from the search page option. Only active patients appear in search screen now.
    • Corrected displayed field length for patient search results. Patient last name and first name display without having to scroll. Must scroll to see MRN.
  6. Discharge Summary
    • Discharge summary disposition drop down boxes for “discharge to” and “follow up appointment at” no longer get truncated in the printed version.
    • Discharge summary admit and discharge dates selected at the beginning of the note now automatically populate the disposition section of the note.
    • Medications are forwarded for all meds and only checks discharge meds if they are active. Will not forward discontinued meds.

    • Pain Scale results now show in graph.
    • Medication Module - Selecting the plus sign now highlights the adjacent folder
    • Medication Module – Meds now sort by category and subcategory
    • Medications Module – Medications now sort alphabetically
    • Chart Review – Print Chart gives choice of number of notes to print and Note Description and allows dynamic note numbers.
    • Physical Exam – Rectal/GU tree structure now moves the scroll box.
    • Nursing Panels – Check boxes now show up for new evaluations and review evaluations.
    • Services – Cosign now defaults to Attending if left blank.
    • Spell Check – now working in the Scales comments and Group Notes.
    • Sorted reason list in medication module order by id.
    • N diagnosis - Now able to have same sub-category under different categories.
    • Checking medical check box for evaluation now updates AXIS 3.
    • All social history now pulls forward.
    • Removed baseline from CGI – improvement.
    • Turned off keyboard navigation when in demographics to prevent incorrect data populating the drop down choices.
    • When in a client view, if reviewing a previous note which is a group note, and then returning to the client view and selecting a new entry, the template no longer is that of a group note.
    • Pain Scale view has been fixed. Item 1 displayed incorrectly.
    • Cosign logic changed. Now has 3 level signing clinician (original user) sign, cosign, and attending sign. Only clinician signed notes will show under co-signer and attending to-do list.
    • Cosign prompt when a cosign was not designated at the signing of a note no longer appears.
    • Indexing on various databases to assist with performance.
    • Short cut added to graph results under review records on Main Page.
    • Problem (is problem vs. Null) now works. Problems (ex. No Problems with elimination) no longer appears on the problem list.
    • Database – onset date now recorded for pdiagnosis and c_pdiagnose tables

Release Notes 3rd Quarter - 2007

This document provides the Release Notes for CRIS Version 2007.3.0.6. This release includes the revised Treatment Plan and Group Note modules as well as various bug fixes. We expect our next baseline release to be in September 2007. Future functionality in 2007 Q3/Q4 will include the document scanning option, a chart management messaging system, an updated authorizations module and some enhancements to the medication module titration and multiple doses options. As always, we appreciate customer feedback on all aspects of our products and services.

Release Notes 4th Quarter - 2007

This document provides the Release Notes for CRIS Version 2007.4.0.9. This release includes a chart management messaging system, system generated tasks, the orders management module, revisions to the authorizations module, a new hospitalizations module, moving vitals and adding BMI to the Physical Exam module, updates to the medication module, a document scanning option, a patient rated scale option, as well as various bug fixes. We expect our next baseline release to be in February 2008. Future functionality in 2008 will include a case management module, a nursing rounds note module, an electronic prescription option, an option for drug-drug interaction subscription, an orders management module, a document tracking module, and enhancements to the tasks and messaging tabs. As always, we appreciate customer feedback on all aspects of our products and services

Introduction

This document provides the Release Notes for CRIS Version 2008.2.0.1. This release includes a case management module, item tracking module, and a billing system launch option. We expect our next baseline release to be in June 2008. Future functionality in 2008 will include a nursing rounds note module, an electronic prescription option, an option for drug-drug interaction subscription, an orders management module, enhancements to the tasks and messaging tabs and updates to reports and the Authorizations section. As always, we appreciate customer feedback on all aspects of our products and services.

Release Notes 2nd Quarter - 2008

This document provides the Release Notes for MindLinc Version 2008.2.0.4. This release includes a new brand “MindLinc”. There are numerous enhancements to this quarter’s release. A new Supervisor Tab enables a user to monitor multiple users’ tasks lists in a read only mode. There are additional tools loaded in the AdminUtility.exe which will assist in adding checkbox items to the clinical notes, as well as, overall configuration to the system. We expect our next baseline release to be in August of 2008. Future functionality in 2008 will include an electronic pharmacy option for prescriptions, an option for drug-drug interaction, an orders management module, and other enhancement requests from our growing client base. As always, we appreciate customer feedback on all aspects of our products and services.

Release Notes 3rd Quarter - 2008

Release Notes 3rd Quarter - 2008 This document provides the Release Notes for MindLinc Version 2008.3.0.7. There are numerous enhancements to this quarter’s release. Concurrency issues have been greatly improved users are now alerted in real-time of changes in clinician data that could effect there decision making process. The administration query module now allows users to create and save their own queries. The application is now able to write and receive eprescribing through Surescript/RX hub this feature will be exposed to the end users in the next 60 days. As always, we appreciate customer feedback on all aspects of our products and services.
